How long does it take to complete an order?
That really depends on the size of the order and specifications of the case(s). However, on average, it generally takes about a week to complete an order. We will try to meet your schedule whenever possible and have been known to complete custom orders within 24 hours. In addition, to assist in delivering your case to you when you need it, we offer expedited shipping through common carriers, including same-day service. At Wellington Case, we pride ourselves on manufacturing quality cases quickly.
Why are your cases made of vulcanized trunk fibre and not plastic?
Fibre is typically a stronger, more durable material than plastic. Plus, fibre can be repaired while plastic usually cannot. The sturdiness and toughness of fibre helps to ensure that your goods are protected.
How long have you been in business?
We were established in 1930 and thus have been manufacturing custom cases for over 70 years. We have designed and built a wide variety of cases in different shapes and sizes, as the needs of our customers have changed over the years.
Would I have to pay taxes for orders shipped outside of Illinois?
No, you would only pay taxes on cases shipped within Illinois or on cases picked up at our factory. The tax rate then is 8.75%.
Do you offer any standard sized cases?
No, because there is no additional charge for custom cases. Currently, we only offer custom cases since every person has different requirements and uses for their case(s). By building only custom cases, you get a case that is designed to meet your individual needs.
